Michel Tyszblat Art
Michel Tyszblat was born in Paris in 1936. His family originally came from Poland. He studied under André Lhote in 1956 and Robert Lapoujade in 1960. Tyszblat's art is considered close to narrative figuration. He saw himself as a half-figurative artist. In 1968, he worked as a painter-adviser and helped to treat mentally ill patients in a psychiatric hospital. From 1973–90, Tyszblat was a member of the jury of the Prix de Vitry. From 1982, he taught fine art and art history in the Architecture school in Versailles. Tyszblat's passion was piano jazz, which became a theme in his painting.
