Gorgeous Italian solid silver vase. Body made in one piece without welding. Embossed and chiseled, of rare beauty and precision. Two important handles made of fusion and finely chiseled were welded onto the vase. The inside of the vase has been gilded in thickness with a non-glossy technique in order to make the overhangs visible and appreciable also on the inside. Each piece of this impressive set has a rectangular rounded form onto four Regency style feet. The plain body of each piece is encircled with a band of embossed and chased decorated stylised floral motifs on a matte background. The teapot is fitted with a flush hinged, domed hallmarked cover; the flush hinge indicates the fine quality of this service. The cover retains the original sterling silver rounded rectangular finial embellished with chased stylised rose and leaf decoration, encompassed with a bud border.
