Raingo Frères, founded in 1832, was famous for its astronomical clocks, one of which is now in the Windsor Castle collection. The set is complemented by bronzes from the renowned sculptor Salmson, a regular exhibitor at the Paris Salon. The garniture includes a central mantel clock and two matching eight-light candelabra, all expertly crafted from ormolu and white marble.
