The Edge, original 24x36 abstract expressionist marine landcape
Located in Spring Lake, NJ
Wave play is all about the miraculous action of the sea at the edge of earth. It is all about the excitement and motion and the play of colors as the sunlight glistens upon the ocean blues, the sandy beiges, creams and taupes and how it makes you feel! The undertow crashes into the beachfront demanding control of the powerful surf! The gritty texture of nature in this original oil painting never recedes! This marine landscape commands attention with the free feeling abstract expressionism brush strokes, impasto paint application and insistence that it remains an organic reflection of the artist's experiences.
