These pitchers are attributed to the West Virginia Specialty Glass Company's Blendo line of glassware. The West Virginia Specialty Glass Company factory produced the Blendo collection from 1956-1987 with its heyday in the 1960s. It has no pontils but smooth bottoms. It came in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Ranging from pastels to bolds and brights; and from pitchers and bowls to various sizes, shapes and types of drinking glasses and bowls. Fabulous vintage MCM or Mid-Century Modern “St. Martin Canal” and “France Port de La Rochelle” Bernard Buffet Lithograph framed and matted prints. These vintage prints are signed and dated in the printing process but do not have original pencil signatures. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. These prints remain in their original of-the-era frames, mats and backing. New brown paper has been applied to the back of frames. We found no scratches or nicks to the prints themselves. Frames may show some age. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We have two mid-century modern unsigned lithograph prints consisting of a larger print of a scene titled “St. Martin Canal” dated 1956, matted inside a lovely black and silver painted wood frame. And a smaller print of a scene titled “France Le Port de La Rochelle” dated 1955, matted inside a wood frame. These mats and frames are original to the prints. The St. Martin Canal is located in the heart of the city just adjacent to the Seine River and today is a popular tourist destination. Can’t you just see yourself standing upon that bridge with the breeze blowing your hair as you gaze upon the beautiful “City of Lights??” Or maybe you would prefer walking along the harbor watching boats come to port as they sail in off of the Atlantic Ocean? That’s exactly what you can imagine as you gaze upon “France Le Port de La Rochelle!” La Rochelle is a city on the west coast of France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay. Both of these scenic areas are breathtaking, and Buffet captured their beauty with his proficient Expressionist style!!! They are going to be wonderful on any wall and they’re sure to bring a bit of French fabulous-ness into your home! French artist Bernard Buffet was born in 1928 and passed away in 1999. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (National School of the Fine Arts) in Paris, France in the 1940s before briefly working as an apprentice to the painter Eugène Narbonne...

Handsome streamline modern, Mid-Century Modern, or Industrial style royal blue & vinyl or faux leather and chrome chaise or daybed with adjustable head or back rest. Wonderful condition keeping in mind that this is vintage & not new so there will be signs of wear & use. The beautiful original royal blue vinyl has some nicks, holes, & dings, specifically on the four corners, which have been repaired. One of the chrome legs has pitting that has been polished & touched up. And there is a small 1/4 “cut” in the main pad area which we felt was better left alone. Handsome Mid-Century Modern smaller writing desk by the Robert John Co. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featuring walnut cabinet with white painted steel frame and white laminate top. This is from their Steelwood collection. It desk is in wonderful restored condition. We have sanded and put a new finish on the walnut and the metal frame. The laminate has been cleaned and polished. There are still signs of age but nothing major. Please see photos, circa 1960s. This wonderful Mid-Century Modern smaller size office desk has been a real puzzle. It has taken much research and I’m still not sure I know about the Robert John Co. from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their tag says Makers of Contemporary Furniture and that this desk is. When I google them all I come up with is other pieces of furniture being offered that were made by them, but I can’t find any history on the company. And, several listings say the piece was designed by Robert John but made by Knoll. I have not found supporting evidence of that statement! No matter. This is a fabulous desk with a walnut box cabinet containing three equal size drawers that are adorned with cool black and white handles. It is surrounded by a white painted metal frame which accents the walnut wonderfully and a white laminate work surface. This was originally in an architect’s office. I can see why. It has awesome lines and is beautifully designed. This desk is just the right size for a home office. Not as big as an executive desk but a little bigger than a writing desk. Fabulous! Fantastic vintage Spanish Colonial Revival style oak cupboard, hutch, cabinet, or dry bar comprised of hand carved oak, wood pegs & shelves, & brass. Circa, Late 19th Century through 20th Century. We really have a hard time determining age of this piece. It is fabulous no matter and is priced for its beauty and not its age. Enigma definition: A person, object, or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand. This cupboard is just that… definitely puzzling and mysterious!! And I sure wish it could talk because I bet it has some GREAT stories to share!! Something tells me it’s seen a few things and has had quite an interesting history. It is a one-piece cabinet comprised of oak with a top and bottom section and an open center section. The doors have carvings with (what we believe are) dates back to the 1600’s. The door fronts remind me of vintage livery cupboards… they are nostalgic and quite mystifying!! We don’t believe the whole cupboard is quite the same age, hence, more mystery! We believe the body or frame of the cupboard is Early 1900’s, possibly earlier, and was made from reclaimed lumber or someone possibly took pieces of an old cabinet and repurposed it. The top section is constructed with mortise & tenon joints (no nails!), the inner top & base cabinets each enclose a single adjustable wood shelf with aged wood peg brackets, and stepped siderails or shelf supports. Both the top and lower door fronts bear enigmatic brass armoire hinges...

We have 4 of these fabulous, hardwired pendant lights that we are selling separately. They are comprised of an incredible milk glass cylinder shade, a marvelous spun aluminum base, top rim (or flange), and a wonderful cone shaped finial. Inside the cylinder is a metal dowl rod with a lamp holder featuring 6 sockets with bulbs… 3 facing up and 3 facing down. And if you follow that rod down even lower, there is yet another single down facing light. So, this means you have TWO lighting options… You can have ALL the lights on OR you can switch off the down facing light. Isn’t it NICE to have options?? And all this MAGNIFICENCE hangs from a fabulous spun aluminum canopy and handsome metal hanging chain. Fun Fact!!! Visa Lighting has a cool little video on U-Tube discussing their products and history and these EXACT light fixtures make a quick appearance in the video photographed with a red background behind the lights, you should check it out!! Well, well, well… what have we here?? We call this… serve-ware EXTRAORDINAIRE!!!! This is a lovely vintage set including a marvelous Dorothy Thorpe serving bowl with her signature silver band and original label plus three “Masterpiece in Wood” black ceruse wood nesting trays with rounded chrome corners labeled with their gold crest logo on the bottom… by Nasco, made in Japan. The silver band surrounding the bowl bears a bit of wonderful, vintage patina which we chose to leave alone as we LOVE the appearance & stories it could tell… but it could be polished if you prefer that look. The name Dorothy Thorpe is simply mid-century modern and Hollywood Regency glamour at its finest and this incredible glass serving bowl represents her iconic style while these marvelous Nasco nesting trays compliment it’s exemplary existence. The silver band on the glass bowl simply explodes as it sits beside the trays & those marvelous chrome corners… it’s quite a STUNNING set up!!! The trays would be an exceptional way to present snacks or beverages to your guests, or a table or bar hosting a lovely set of vintage glasses...

Fabulous modern tessellated Mactan stone square end table with a diagonal peach stripe and a round glass top with beveled edge in the style of Maitland Smith. Magnificent… Mactan Stone…. And the style of Maitland Smith!!! This is a marvelous square end table comprised of a gorgeous Mactan rough edge stone pedestal base featuring a smooth, polished diagonal peach stripe and a lovely round glass tabletop with a beveled edge in the style of Maitland Smith. So, a fun fact about Mactan stone… It is a sedimentary conglomerate of shale and coral quarried in the Philippines on an island called Opon which is located at the eastern part of the province of Cebu. It’s an island encircled by fascinating beaches and wondrous sights. The original name for these stones was "Coral stones" but that changed as the years passed by. Mactan Stones is Opon's Marvelous Gem. And this end table is DEFINITELY a gem!! Isn’t it GORGEOUS??? Its style is modern and a bit of Art Deco Revival with a Hollywood Regency and Mediterranean feel. Maybe even leaning a bit Postmodern… Either way, this spectacular end table is going to grace your home with its stunning presence whether on the side of a lounge chair in the living room holding a beverage or next to a chair in the sitting room hosting a nice table lamp. Gorgeous set of 18 vintage Asian drop ceiling panels. They are 2 x 2 ft. lauan wood squares, ¼ inch thick. 16 yellow with dragon design and 2 white with dragon and symbol design, hand painted and gilded, in beautiful condition with wear as you would expect with vintage pieces. All panels have varying degrees of wear including nicks, dings, scratches, and chips – we call it patina – they are by no means perfect but are beautiful. Please see photos, Circa, 20th century. Don’t ever let anyone turn your sky into a ceiling…-live life happy…. UNLESS it’s covered in oriental bliss with these awesome vintage Asian drop ceiling panels!!! There are eighteen of these lauan wood drop ceiling squares. Sixteen have a yellowish frame or background and two are off-white. They are all hand painted and gilded, possibly from a pattern or mold, and embossed with bright colors of gold, red, green, and yellow with designs of dragons, oriental symbols, and flowers…they are breathtaking!! And, oh my goodness, the possibilities!!!! Obviously, they would be perfect for a drop ceiling in an oriental restaurant or nail salon...
