Edward Weston (1886 - 1958) is best known for his photographs of nudes, natural forms and landscapes, which are largely focused on the American West. His highly detailed photographs have a captivating, dark tone. Weston the first photographer to earn a Guggenheim Fellowship and was best known for using an 8×10 view camera, primarily for his black and white "landscape-like."
