Lovely quality Victorian oil painting, painted on this large scale. The work depicts two favourite pets, standing waiting patiently for their master. Despite having always had a dog and currently with two, my knowledge of breeds is somewhat lacking.... the dog on the right has a spaniel feel to it, though the dog on the left has eluded me.

The painting is in very good condition having been relined and restored.
