"Aurea: A Tribute to the Golden Dot."
In the fabric of the universe, mathematics reveals patterns that transcend time and space. In the fabric of art, these patterns intertwine with the human imagination, creating works that bear witness to the inherent beauty of the cosmos. "Aurea" emerges as a study and homage to the golden point, whose presence has resonated since the days of Euclid, extending through the ages to inspire and guide human creativity. The space, composed in three rectangular zones, seeks to explore balance. In the upper zone, the sphere unfolds in its splendor, enveloped in a texture that invites touch. The sphere, a symbol of geometric perfection, becomes the epicenter of the visual narrative of "Aurea".
In its bosom, it houses a rose, a tribute to Mother Nature. The ochre area houses the word "Aurea", reminding him of the very essence of his inspiration. In the lower zone, a sculpture emerges, a testament to man's ability to mold matter and give form to beauty.

Born in Madrid, Spain, he pursued Interior Design studies but his aptitude for painting led him to focus on this art form. In 1986, he joined the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, where he spent several years drawing and painting figures from life. In 1989, he became a copyist of Art Works at the National Prado Museum in Madrid, a role he continued for several more years. He took painting courses with Daniel Quintero and Eduardo Úrculo, and engraving courses at the National Mint of Madrid with José Hernández, Daniel Gil, Paco Mora, and Luis Cabrera. He has held solo and group exhibitions in various national and international galleries. He has been selected for numerous national competitions and has won several awards, including the 2nd Prize at the Caballeros de Yuste, finalist in the VIII Laura Otero, Honorary Medal at Sotillo de la Adrada, 5th Prize at the XVIII Antequera in Málaga, Honorary Medal at the XXII López-Villaseñor, XLII Antonio López Painting and Drawing Competition in Tomelloso, Ciudad Real, and First Prize in Small Format Painting at AGORA96 in Cádiz. He was a finalist in the Ynglada-Guillot Foundation Drawing Competition in Barcelona. His most recent selections include Daimiel and Virgen de las Viñas 2022, Laura Otero (finalist), and Valdepeñas 2023. In 2018, he was selected to exhibit at the Art Revolution Taipei International Art Fair and at the X-Power Gallery in Taipei.
