Klaus Bendixen (born December 14, 1924 in Hanover ; † September 30, 2003 in Heilbronn ) was a German painter and art college professor.
Bendixen, who had his mother's surname, completed an apprenticeship as a stonemason after his military service from 1942 to 1945 on the Eastern Front. He then studied from 1947 to 1949 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg with Fritz Griebel. He continued his studies from 1949 to 1953 at the State Academy of Fine Arts continues in Stuttgart. There he was a master student with Willi Baumeister. In 1955, he was member of the German Association of Artists. In 1956 he married Hal Busse, who was also trained as a master builder in Stuttgart. Together they belonged to the national and international avant-garde at this time.
“So on the one hand we are dealing with independent structures of color and shape that only open up to the visual deepening and then again we come across images in the images that already read out everyday perception. Then we notice parts of the area that have been treated in a very painterly manner. We see differentiated colors, complex structures, amorphous boundaries. And therein the traces of the creation process that remained visible, which initially help penetrate the image content. But then, suddenly, as in an assembly, surface portions of a smooth application of paint! One senses that these deliberately brought together opposites correspond to different levels of relation to reality. "

Hans-Jürgen Kleinhammes ( November 16, 1937 in Augsburg – August 2008 there) was a German painter and graphic artist.
He studied from 1959 to 1961 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, from 1961 to 1965 at the State University of Fine Arts in Hamburg with Thiemann, Mavignier and Wunderlich. In 1966 he went to Paris for a year on a grant (“ Cité Internationale des Arts ”).
From the mid-1960s he developed his visual language, which was reduced to landscape fragments and signet-like abstraction. (“the representation is strongly objectified, but does not lack a surreal-poetic quality...”). He saw Caspar David Friedrich , René Magritte and Giogio de Chirico as his role models . From 1964 he titled his pictures with the term “New Landscape”, which he determined. At the same time, Werner Nöfer and Jens Lausen were working on a similar artistic program. In 1968 he was a co-founder of the CO-OP artists' cooperative Hamburg , which wanted to switch off the art market with several graphic portfolio editions (members included Bruno Bruni , Dizi, Klaus Geldmacher , Dieter Glasmacher , Ullrich Hohenhaus, Tomislav Laux, Ernst Mitzka, Werner Nöfer, Sigmar Polke , Anna Oppermann...

------------------------------
(Geometric Abstraction, Minimalism, Constructivism)
Max Bill (22 December 1908 – 9 December 1994) was a Swiss architect, artist, painter, typeface designer, industrial designer and graphic designer.
Bill is widely considered the single most decisive influence on Swiss graphic design beginning in the 1950s with his theoretical writing and progressive work.[3] His connection to the days of the Modern Movement gave him special authority. As an industrial designer, his work is characterized by a clarity of design and precise proportions.[4] Examples are the elegant clocks and watches designed for Junghans, a long-term client. Among Bill's most notable product designs is the "Ulmer Hocker...
