Michael Wallner - View From The Tate, 84 x 137 cm, brushed aluminium print, limited edition of 25. This is one of my favourite views of London, encapsulating everything I love about London: the Thames, the beautiful lines and shapes of historic building, nestling alongside the modern day skyscrapers, and the bustling people on their way somewhere. The piece is created from my original photograph, taken from the Tate gallery. I have digitally manipulated the image to trace the outlines of the buildings before adding colouring by hand with a graphics tablet. Every person on the bridge is coloured in exactly the same colours as they were wearing on the day I took the photograph. The image is printed directly onto brushed aluminium which gives the piece an etched appearance. An aluminium frame on the back makes it very easy to hang. Please note: this piece is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in 10-14 days.

I love the beautiful lines, shapes and intricate patterns in the dome of London’s most famous cathedral. This piece of art is created from my original photograph, digitally manipulated to trace the dome’s outlines and coloured by hand on a graphics tablet.
The image is then printed directly on a small piece of brushed aluminium, which gives the piece an etched appearance. The design of the dome itself appear as aluminium lines. The metal print is floated in hand-painted waxed wood frame.
