Romain Langlois
Romain Langlois has become known for his unique bronze sculptures, to which he gives an appearance of a rock or wood. His work is not limited to this technical virtuosity: by reproducing objects that he takes from nature, he introduces a poetic twist that rises the ordinary to the rank of extraordinary. However, life cannot always show its best side; sometimes you have to root it out. This is what I am trying to do with my sculptures, gently, discreetly: to search for the life and expose it to those who are going to view them.’’
