A bejeweled masterpiece of design and craftsmanship, the ‘Bride’ Chandelier trails on the ground its stylish train of brass and copper flowers. 'I like the idea of a piece which challenges the space and conventions. For me, beauty is always obvious and amazing. And every creation is a one-of-a-kind ‘rendez-vous’.' This exquisite lyrical chandelier wears a guipure costume made of copper and brass droplike flowers in the expression of a style which is both poetic and structured, flamboyant and balanced. Each of the flowers was sculpted one by one. Faux ingénue, the ‘Bride’metal guipure gown unfurls at a wild pace, linking the brass and copper finishings. Some flowers have a polished, mirrored effect obtained from galvanization. Others were brushed or distressed with a hammer. Some were given a pink or blue effect using fire. These different finishings make the piece even more lyrical.
