About the Item

A large pair of ornate brass firedogs. The feet surmounted by dragons, foliage and putti, with urns to central shaft. Classical figures to top. English, 19th century. Currently with aged brass/bronze patina - could be polished to brass if required. Measures: Height: 800 mm 31 ½" Width: 350 mm 13 ¾" Depth: 222 mm 8 ¾".
