Huge 19th Century Gilded and Reverse Painted Shop Sign

About the Item

A fabulous huge late 19th Century Spanish gilded and painted glass sign from a bar in Barcelona. A rare survivor still in its original wooden frame with multiple layers of paint. The reverse glass gilded letters now protected with a new wooden backing. Signed to the bottom right hand corner 'CHAMPANE CARMEN 95'.
