A fine quality Statuary marble fireplace in the Louis XVI style. The tapering, stop-fluted jambs surmounted by panel carved with grapes and leaf work with swirling rosette paterae above. The fluted frieze with carved grapes and leaf work throughout. Moulded shelf above. French, 19th century.
