Hand-crafted wrought iron pedestal from the early 1900s attr to A. Mazzucotelli

About the Item

Rare hand-crafted wrought iron pedestal from the early 1900s attributed to Alessandro Mazzucotelli. The pedestal comes from an elegant apartment in Milan created and decorated by Alessandro Mazzucotelli in the first decades of the 20th century. This kind of accessory was usually used as a support for Murano glass cups, as can be seen from the contemporary works of Umberto Bellotto. But it can also be used as a support for flower pots. The glass plate shown in the photo is not available.
