This unusual piece represents scenes of frolicking peasants in the style of David Teniers and has typical lion head handles in the flemish renaissance revival style.
It is marked by the 'National Manufacture of Dinanderie', 'dinanderie' meaning the craft of working copper forthcoming from the coppermines of Dinant in Belgium.
This manufacture was located in Brussels, Victor Rauterstreet.
