John Prip Sterling Silver and Granite River Stone Lidded Box

About the Item

A sublime box handcrafted by American silversmith, John Prip, comprising a hollowed and polished granite river stone inset with rim and finished with a handwrought lid, both in sterling silver. Meticulously executed and thoughtfully designed with the artist's engraved guide lines visible among the lid's perforations. Highly tactile object with untouched patina to both stone and metal. Incised signature and date to lid interior, ".T.7. John Prip 94".
