A high-class Rococo grandfather clock made in Stockholm, Sweden in the 1780s. The clock features rich gilded carvings in typical Rococo forms. The movement is signed by Hans Wessman, a watchmaker in Stockholm from 1787 to 1805. The gilding is original, and the remaining paint is restored original color.
