19th Century French Louis XVI Style Marble Gilt Bronze Clock and Candelabra Set

About the Item

A very fine quality antique (19th century) French clock and candelabra set ( garniture) comprising an ormolu-mounted white marble mantel clock and a pair of gilt bronze and white marble candelabra. Clock is decorated with simulated glass diamonds. Movement is stamped Medaille D'argent Vincent & Cie 1855 with key and pendulum. Candelabrum are raised on white marble urns with satyr head and hoof feet supports over white marble and bronze bases. Candelabra: 18 by 9 in. Clock: 23.5 by 11 by 8 in.
