About the Item

Brass construction painted, clockface 10cm diameter. Original condition with original Kienzle movement still working. Desiged in the late 1930s in Netherlands by Adrianus Willem Uithol who was a famous Dutch artist. Also known in the US in the 1950s for his abstract and surreal metal sculptures. Before he fully devoted himself to making sculptures as an artist, he was the largest bell founder in South Holland in the 1930s to the early 1950s.
