Rare Amethyst Crystal Pseudomorph After Calcite on Agate Matrix, Amethyst Flower
About the Item
Gallery-Grade Amethyst Pseudomorph After Calcite on Matrix Agate, And Golden Goethite Inclusions
▫️ Description
A rare Amethyst specimen, featuring minerals that usually don't appear together. This is a world-class Amethyst with sculptural aesthetics, perfect for your crystal cabinet and certainly deserving of a top spot in any collection, It’s also a luxurious geological marvel, bringing millions of years of history to your space.
It is a miracle that a specimen like this came out intact, it has no damage to the Amethyst Quartz, and even shinier seeing it in person.
It all began with an agate matrix (chalcedony) acting like a time capsule, preserving mineral inclusions within its structure that crafted a beautiful marine seascape. This phenomenon, where agate forms atop minerals, is still not fully understood.
Atop the agate, we find the formation of a unique flower—a rare phenomenon, likely one-of-a-kind—where amethyst pseudomorphed over the agate and calcite. To top it all, golden goethite grows interlacing with the quartz, giving golden sparkles to it and bringing natural agate patterns.
It is 100% natural, exactly as it was found in the mines, and comes with the peace of mind of being ethically sourced in my hometown, Ametista do Sul. Please check the pictures to see more of it and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests. 🤍

E2D Crystals
E2D stands for Edivan, Elizandro, and Denny, the 3 Toazza brothers who compose this Family Owned Business and all share a passion for the finest Crystals. As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

Small Amethyst Geode with Rare Quartz after Calcite and Flower Formations
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
Sculptural and full of special features, this small yet gorgeous geode brings rarity at every point. Intact formations create an impressive landscape, resembling a natural cave or aquascape, with minerals that develop into a beautifully aesthetic composition. This rare combination makes it a standout piece for crystal aficionados, collectors, and décor artists seeking something truly extraordinary.
The whole geode commands attention, and the first thing we notice is the calcite. It formed in different ways, with some perfectly crystallized formations adding a delicate touch to the specimen. The main calcite in this piece is a crystal after calcite, which could be a specimen in itself.
Looking closely at it, on the back part of the geode, we find beautiful small amethyst rosettes...
