About the Item
The table lamp plays with a pair of dualities; its two profiles, an elongated distortion of a hexagonal form and a simple receding side view, and its two light sources, front and back and side to side. Refined, milled-in details delineate the equal proportions of the shade and the base to play with traditional ratios.
The low profile form has an illuminated symmetry. It consists of a narrow shade with a twin light source at either extreme. The shade comes in canvas or parchment and uses a metal skeleton to rest directly upon a wooden base that gently floats above the surface to create an elegant yet, playful structure of clean lines.
