'Tetrahedron' Table or Floor Lamp, Dutch Design, 1970s

About the Item

This beautiful lamp is called the 'Tetrahedron'. A design by Frans van Nieuwenborg and Martijn Wegman for Indoor. The light consist out of three glass triangles held together by plastic corner pieces. These corner pieces are connected and held in place by metal wires. These wires also hold the light bulb in the centre of the lamp. The lamp is dimmable by using the original triangle shaped switch. In one of the glass corners the name of the designers is sandblasted. A true iconic light piece of Dutch design.
