Parcel Gilt Iron Scrollwork Sunburst Mirror / Backlit Mirror with Convex Glass
Impressive handcrafted Gothic Revival gilt iron sunburst convex mirror with scroll frame and gilt ball accents. France, 1930s-1940s.
The frame is an intricate filigree decoration with scrolls in diferent sizes accented by gold leaf gilt iron semi-spheres. It has a bronze-gilded patina finishing.
It can be displayed as a wall sunburst mirror or as a backlit mirror creating an interesting ambient lighting.
The contrast between the bronze gilded patina and the black iron frame accented by the gold leaf gilt iron balls make this mirror eye-catching.
Newly wired with 4 E14 bulb holders.
Measures: 68 cm diameter x 10 cm H // 24 cm glass diameter.
