About the Item

From a decommissioned ship, an oval fixed porthole window in a combination of chrome and brass converted by us into a mirror. Classic styling. Rivets were added as these come out when taken off ships. Two brass supports on the back for hanging and metal back to protect the mirror, circa 1970s. The Lockhart Collection is a personally curated gallery of antiques and fine jewelry, owned and operated by Deborah Lockhart Phillips. The antiques and vintage pieces encompass Nautical Artifacts & Instruments, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern Furniture and Lighting, British Campaign furniture, and of course the finds that simply defy being categorized. The Lockhart Collection is a notable and trusted resource for many interior designers and movie production companies. An affinity for the sea, spirit of adventure, a discerning eye and a belief in keeping life interesting, informs her style and therefore the collection. Deborah sources quality, one-of-a-kind and distinguished pieces; found both domestically and abroad and has done so for over 30+ years. Shop is located on Nantucket Island.
