Unusual Pair of Georgian-Style Transom Windows Converted to Mirrors
About the Item
An exceptional and rare pair of 19th-century Georgian-style transom windows, skillfully converted into decorative mirrors. Originally crafted in Virginia circa 1850, each piece is constructed from solid pine with warm patination and features beautifully arched, moulded mullions radiating in a fanlight design.
The original architectural elements have been sensitively adapted with custom-cut mirror panels, blending historical authenticity with practical elegance. These mirrors add architectural interest and classical charm to any interior space, whether hung horizontally over a console or vertically in a narrow hallway.
A perfect find for designers and collectors seeking distinctive Americana, architectural salvage, or neoclassical style statements.
