An Italian Florentine wooden commode from the 19th century, with white marble top, three drawers, volutes, paw feet and ebonized accents. Created in Florence during the 19th century, this commode features a rectangular white marble top sitting above an elegant apron adorned with a regular rhythm of raised "pointes de diamant" motifs. Three veneered drawers below, accented with ebonized spade-shaped inlaid keyholes flanked with turned pulls, showcase a dovetail construction. These drawers are flanked with delicate volutes creating a perfect sense of unity on the façade. The commode is raised on lion paw feet in the front and block feet in the back. The sides are simply veneered and the back is, of course, unfinished. With its elegant lines, delicate décor and contrasting colors, this Italian 19th century commode with white marble top...
