Made in England in the early 19th Century, this charmingly compact chest of drawers would work wonderfully in a variety of settings and will add bygone quality and a superb antique aesthetic to any interior. Traditionally hand-crafted from beautifully grained solid mahogany showing lovely, aged colouring, this handy storage piece is reassuringly and surprisingly heavy for a compact chest of drawers. It features three good-sized oak-lined drawers of varying height, complete with attractive double brass handles and ‘dummy’ locks to add a decorative flourish. It has a large and usefully sized single-piece top with moulded bordering and is supported by a lovely mid-Georgian, tier-moulded base of legs with shapely three-sided aprons.
