One bay system. Four wooden shelves (each with two recessed metal supports), two metal 'ladder' uprights.
Unit: W 93.5 cm, D 20.5 cm, H 201 cm
Individual shelf boards: W 89 cm, D 20 cm
Lovely system in very good condition with only normal light signs of age. This has the desirable wide (89 cm) shelves. The shelves can be fitted in any configuration on the 'ladders' - and the system can easily be added to and extended.
A very elegant, midcentury shelving system. The concept is similar to the 'String' system by Nisse Strinning and Kajsa Strinning. It would make a fantastic addition to a European mid-century themed modern interior. It works well together with the work of European and Scandinavian designers such as Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Marcel Breuer.
