A French Art Deco bar cart in high-gloss black lacquer with chrome rails and mirrored glass top, crafted in France circa 1930. This original period piece embodies the streamlined sophistication of the Machine Age, combining functional design with sculptural clarity.
The low-slung silhouette rests on castors and features two semicircular shelf platforms framed by tubular chrome rails – a classic Art Deco gesture of form following function. The mirrored top adds both visual depth and reflective glamour. At its center, the piece contains a cupboard with doors that open on both sides, revealing an interior with oak shelving. A discreet chrome pull knob and a removable cast-metal mouse-shaped dish offer unexpected charm and decorative detail.
