This scented cedar wood coffee table is carved from a single block of cedar wood, characterized by its minimalist and extremely natural design.
Riva 1920 is an Italian firm that keeps and transmits antique artisanal tradition. The firm selects just the most precious woods and materials to create high-quality design furniture able to challenge time while respecting nature. All the collection of tables, coffee tables, bookshelves, stools, chairs and other pieces of furniture are realized in wood from reforestation areas using essences like maple, cherry, oak and walnut. Among the most prestigious ones, Riva 1920 uses millennial Kauri from New Zeland, Venezia Briccole and the aromatic cedar from Lebanon. Today the firm collaborates with more than 100 designers that give shape to a splendid material, keeping constant the goal to carry on a productive reality made of tradition, culture, creativity, and innovation.
To protect and maintain the volcano cedar finish follow the instructions provided with the maintenance kit. Apply natural scented oils or waxes every six months using the provided wax. After waxing, avoid placing cushions or sitting on the surface with light-colored clothing, as friction may cause slight color transfer. Promptly dab any spills with absorbent paper—do not rub. Hot liquids and strong detergents may permanently damage the surface. Dispose of wax-covered clothes following the maintenance kit instructions.
Solid cedar wood naturally expands, contracts, and forms cracks or splits over time. These are expected and do not qualify as defects. The Vulcano finish process may cause additional cracks, revealing pale yellow tones of untreated cedar beneath. This is a normal reaction and does not affect the wood’s integrity. Cracks or indentations can be touched up using the special brush and black color included in the maintenance kit.
This product is NOT intended for outdoor use. Exposure to outdoor elements may lead to significant cracking, fading, and damage, which will not be considered grounds for complaints or claims. The natural characteristics of solid cedar and the Vulcano finish process are inherent to the product and should be expected.
