About the Item
An elegant piece of minimal Dutch design from the early eighties. Reminiscent of Poul Kjaerholme’s work the simple construction consists of a metal frame which rests on top of a contrasting granite base. The original glass top is a hefty two centimetres thick.
A prolific and often under rated designer this was Kwint’s first piece that went into production. Hence the name KW-1. The table came in a number of colour and size variations.
The table is in good condition with only age related marks to the base and light scratching to the top, alongside four chips to its corners.
