About the Item
One of a kind artist made cocktail table. The undulating surface texture is rich with abstracted mark making and reminiscent of coral or fossils, with several holes through which you can see through to the other side. Finished in a pale warm gray, with variation in color intensity over the texture, and a clear gloss finish.

Abby Kasonik
Abby Kasonik is a multidisciplinary artist based in Charlottesville VA. She received her BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts, Department of Sculpture. Kasonik’s work is in numerous collections including the University of Virginia’s Fralen Museum, the UVA Foundation’s Boar’s Head Resort and the Darden School’s Forum Hotel. Her work has been featured in publications including Huffington Post, Luxe, 1stDibs Introspective, Business of Home, and Southern Living Magazine. Kasonik has work on view at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art through January 2025.
