Custom Floating Lucite, Steel and White Lacquered Two Drawer Desk Vintage
About the Item
This vintage custom made sensational floating desk with 2 drawers has a recessed glass top that floats on steel pegs around the entire desk; the 2 part lucite sides come together with a steel round disk at center at the back and the white lacquered drawers float on the left hand side with chrome knobs.The radius lucite portion is sculptural. The height of the lucite portion is 30" H and the glass insert top is 28.5" H. The distance between where the glass sits on the steel pegs on the desk top is 1" H. It does not get any better than this. We believe this was a custom one of kind desk and is in the style of Karl Springer. From the 1970s. This is a spectacular chic desk.
Please note: there are a few dings on the white lacquer drawers and we will not be restoring them.
