About the Item

Round dining table by Roland Wilhelmsson for Karl Andersson and Söner in Huskvarna, Sweden 1960s. Price per table. Wilhelmsson established a design philosophy centered on functionality, simplicity, and the use of natural materials. His work is characterized by clean lines and a Scandinavian aesthetic that emphasizes practicality. Roland Wilhelmsson Dining Table – Model RW152, Sweden, 1960s A bold and sculptural solid pine dining table designed by Roland Wilhelmsson in the 1960s. The Model RW152 reflects Wilhelmsson’s signature approach to Scandinavian Brutalism — honest materials, clean lines, and architectural presence. Crafted entirely from solid Swedish pine, this piece showcases deep wood grain, a warm patina, and meticulous joinery. The table’s chunky proportions and minimalist silhouette give it a striking yet timeless character, making it ideal for both rustic and contemporary interiors.

By Roland Wilhelmsson
Located in Utrecht, NL
Designed by Roland Wilhelmsson, this “Kvadrat” table is from the era when Swedish design and culture started attracting design-conscious international buyers on a large scale. The model’s design is dated to 1972, and this particular table was manufactured in Huskvarna, where the manufactory still operates, for more than four generations now. Swedish furniture and interior design culture went through dramatic changes during the 1970s.
