About the Item

A substantial and well-crafted Belgian oak gateleg table featuring a classic oval top with two drop leaves. The expansive surface is supported by a base composed of turned baluster legs, with four gateleg supports that swing outward to hold the leaves when extended. The legs are joined by traditional box stretchers, adding both visual structure and stability to the piece. Executed in solid oak, the table finish was stripped and displays warm tone, visible grain, and carved detailing characteristic of Belgian country craftsmanship. When closed, table has a depth of 23.25".
