Unusual antique Swedish Biedermeier drop-leaf table in stunning quilted golden birch veneers with an ormolu style central column and four elegant curved feet.
Classic 1800s swedish biedermeier piece that will grace any living room
There is a pretty marquetry inlaid design on the front panel and delicate detail on the bottom of the column to add to the beauty of the piece.
The table is approximate 94 cm wide without the leaves extended and the table will be fully repolished for you prior to shipping to care care of any minor scratches or marks of use
It would go very well with the various 1800s swedish biedermeier carver chairs and single chairs that we holds in stock.

This original Biedermeier table dates back to around 1820-30 and comes from Southern Germany. The table has a central column which stands on a trefoil base. All parts have a very pretty cherry veneer. The top is decorated with a piecrust cherry veneer. It comes refinished with a shellack finish, but still has signs of its 200 year old age.
