A very cool, rare, mid-century marble side table! A black, iron framed hexagonal top, inlaid with polished Rojo Alicante, Verde Alpi green marble, and travertine… a beautiful mosaic of organic patterns and textures. It feels French or Italian, it has the artistry of 19th-century marble specimen furniture. The base is a piece of art, a trio of hand-forged wrought iron legs, with gothic or English-inspired detailing. Though the maker and artist are unknown, the craftsmanship and material quality suggest a thoughtful, skilled hand. It has a great personality, it feels bohemian, gothic, art deco, mid-century, Victorian, and one-of-a-kind! Its allure pulls you in, the more you look, the more there is to love and appreciate.
