Beautiful antique adjustable reading stand or bookcase stand with a cast iron base. It is in good, original condition. The bookstand is height-adjustable. The angle is also adjustable and can be swiveled away. These stands can be used for reading in a chair or, for example, to display a book. The cast iron base serves as a counterweight.
