About the Item

19th century Swedish burr birch shaped occasional table circa 1870. Fine quality table which is ideal for multiple uses around the home.  Scalloped shaped top which has been beautifully veneered in birch root, with a rich golden colour. Single concealed drawer to the front. Standing on a turned and carved stem, with acanthus leaf detailing, supported by 4 carved scrolling legs. Very minor surface losses around top edge, but does not detract from this beautiful table.
