Chinoiserie Style Octagonal Accent Table
About the Item
Chinoiserie octagonal accent table with fine form and color. Features a classic black lacquer and gilt design with scenes of Asian architecture and natural landscapes decorating an octagonal top surrounded by a pierced brass gallery. The apron is similarly detailed, featuring two drawers. Raised on tapered and ribbed legs around a striking floral openwork stretcher/open shelf over caster feet.
Dimensions: Width 26.75” Depth 26.75” Height 30”
Condition: Please see detail photos. Beautifully crafted with wonderful attention to detail. The table top is distressed with scratches, a possibly heat produced fade spot , rubs and nicks from use with the base having paint and gilt losses and gilt losses. Despite the wear the table retains and elegant presentation.
