French Carved and Book-Matched Walnut Burl Hexagonal Pedestal Table
About the Item
Exceptional French walnut burl hexagon shaped occasional, center hall or side pedestal table on a tripod base, circa 1930s. Richly carved with a book-matched and banded top with intricate stylized floral edge detail supported by an urn decorated pedestal on three cabriole legs with carved large acanthus leaves ending in scrolled feet. This is a gorgeous table with fabulous attention to detail boasting all the hallmarks of fine French craftsmanship and style. A versatile piece which will suit a variety of settings.
