We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite Victorian circa 1860 Polychrome painted parcel gilt tilt top occasional table
A very well made and ornately decorated table. It is as mentioned a tilt top, the idea being when not in use it stands in the corner of a room and the front is decorated like a painting. I have also seen them used as fire screens
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be some light patination to the finish however polychrome paint is designed to last forever
