Walking up the slate stepping-stones to this cottage is to cross the threshold into a dreamy environment infused with romantic charm. Solis Betancourt & was asked to open up the floor plan of this Washington home and fill it with soft, atmospheric colors and furnishings that were stylish and classical. In a way, the house tells a love story about its owners, a couple who met in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The dining room mural pays tribute to this locale, and sets the tone for the blues and hazy greens that make up the palette of the overall project.
