This work on paper titled Tallons Two is one in a series of two collages by Amanda Andersen, created in 2023 on 300g matte archival paper and comes with the white frame as pictured.
Starting with imperfectly painted black polka dots on tan colored paper, then cut and collaged onto thick natural white aquarelle paper.
This collage is an exercise in simplicity and minimalism, using a limited color palette and basic shapes to create a dynamic and visually striking composition. The triangles are arranged in an asymmetric fashion with a playfulness added by high contrast polka dots.
