In this work a shell sits against a bright teal background, teeming with life: purple and pink flowers, lush green foliage, and a peacock feather adorn the crustacean home, as if growing directly from its surface. The work is further unified with pink dots painted about, with fine white lines emerging like tentacles or perhaps additional branches and leaves. Artist Commentary: Sea Spine is a unique and fantastic flowering shell, adorned with a peacock feather, lilacs, and the whispers of ocean hair.
