Signed lower left, 'Carole Barnes AWS' (American, 20th century) and painted circa 1985.
Carole Barnes has exhibited widely and with success and is the recipient of over 50 prizes, medals and juried awards nationwide. She teaches workshops across the country and is a frequent juror at state and national watercolor exhibitions. Ms. Barnes is a member of the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society and is listed in Who is Who in American Art. Her work is held in numerous private and public collections including the permanent collection of the Albuquerque Museum, NM.
