Plants is a beautiful artwork realized by Jan Peter Verdussen in 1740.
pen and watercolour on brown paper. In good codition except for some pencil marks and traces of sealing wax on the back. Dated on the lower margin. The original plate is mounted on a cardboard passepartout (49 x 34 cm).
Jan Peeter Verdussen (1700 - 1763) was a Flemish painter, draftsman and printmaker. He is known mainly for his battle scenes, incidents of camp life and equestrian paintings.
