Highly detailed depiction of a country kitchen by Alice Shaw (American, b. 1943). Full of details and vibrancy, this piece shows a vintage kitchen with a 1950s- style stove, oven, and refrigerator. The kitchen is full of items, including cookbooks, plants, plates, and canned goods. A few of the items are accented with gold paint. Hidden among the items are napping cats. The black outlines of this piece are printed, with the watercolor added by hand.
Signed in the lower right corner.
Designated "AP" in the lower left corner.

Presented in a gold-colored frame with a new cream mat. The original mat was painted by the artist, and is included.
